We started our unit on Electricity this week in Science. On Monday we discussed what we think we already know about electricity. We put this information down on a chart so we could revisit it later if we learned something that changed what we thought we knew. On Tuesday we experimented with a D battery, a piece of wire, and a small light bulb. We tried many different ways to get the light bulb to light up.
What is one way you were able to light up the bulb?
One way of mine were to put one part of the wire at the bottom, and put the light bulb at the top then put the other part of the wire at the side of the light bulb.

One way to light the bulb. Is to put the battery sideways.Nextyou get the wire and put one side to the bottom of the battery.Thenget the other side and touch the light bulb.

One way I did it is by geting a 6 inch wire and put one half under it and then I the light bulb and put the other half to the bulb and put it to the battery

We had to put a 6 inch wire at the bottom and the top part we had to make the anther wire touch the top. Kesean
ReplyDeleteI was able to light up the bulb by having 1 6" wire,1 battery,1 cardboard box and 1 tiny light bulb. I got the 6" wire and put the metal part under the battery. The next thing was that I got the light bulb and put it on the part of the bulb that was sticking up. The last thing was that I put the wire and touhced the metal part of the bulb and it lit up.

You can put the wirer on the botom of a d batery. And put the bulb on the top and tuch it

bulb and I keep trying to light the buld until I had it and I learn how to light the bulb wit no hand I't was fun.

What i did to light the light is to frust we had a baterwey a wiyer and a light bug and we had to mack it light up and how i mad it light up by pooting 1 pisu of the wiyer and put it at the botome and put the uther pise and put the light on the wiyer

My light bulb lighted up when I put the wire on the bottom of the battery . Then I put the bulb on top of the battery . I put the wire on the meddle part of the bulb then it lighted up .

You can lite up the bulb is that. You can take a wire and stick it on the bottm of a battry then stick the bulb on the battry and put the wire on the medal. kyle
