Yesterday, for art we started on making paper mache' pumpkins for October. Think back to our art activity. Think about the materials you needed and the steps you had to do to cover your balloon with paper mache'.
Tell how you created your paper mache' pumpkin. What materials did you need? What steps did you have to go through to get the first layer completed?
First you had to blow the balloon. Up first then you but paper on the balloon then cover every spot.

I created my paper mache' By putting ripped up newspaper.In the glue then while in was in the glue we had to fill both sides of the newspaper with glue so it would stick beter.Then we put it on the balloon.We needed newspaper,glue,water,and a balloon.first we had to mix the glue and water togother.Next we put the newspaper in the glue and filled both sides with glue.Then we put it on the balloon.Finnally we put it on the balloon and coverd it so it had no bumpy lumpys.Cole

ReplyDelete1st we hade to blow up a bloon,tie it so the air would not come out. next we hade to tear newspaper and glue it on the bloon. then we hade to sit it out and let them dry all night

The first thing we did to make our pumkins was to get a ballon and blow it up. The second thing we had to do was rip up some newspaper. After that we had to mix glue and water together. Then we had to dip the newspaper in the glue and stick it on the ballon. To mix the water and glue we had to get a paper plate,bottles of glue and water. We had to hold the balloon by the tie. We also had to smooth-out the wrinkles and bumps. Next we are going to let them dry,I think we'll pop the baloons and paint them orange or the other way around.

Frst we sruchud a balloon and we had to rip nespaper and we had some glue and put some whater in it and wen we got done puting the whater in the glue and we had to store it up and we got a pise of nesupapupr and put it in the botlu of glue on both side and sicu it on the balloon and slide ower finger dowenthe blloon and we pantd a shue red we pantd a pucinu bluw and we but a wit balloon in the siling and hoong a wite balloon and but nesupapur

I had to put glue on the balloon.I had to be steady.My hands were really sticky.My hand cept get ing stuck to the paper.I had a really fun time.

The why I created my pumpkin. I blow the balloon up. I take little pieces of newspaper and put it in glue.I put the newspaper on the balloon. we made it flat on the balloon.and we lit it dry on the balloon.Lymiah
