Equivalent Fractions

Last week we worked on finding fractions that are equal to each other (equivalent fractions).  We would have a missing numerator (top number) or missing denominator (bottom number) and have to find out what the missing number was supposed to be.

Solve this equivalent fraction problem:

3/5 = ?/10

  4. 3/5=6/10 The answer is six because I multiplied to get my answer so 5x2=10 and then you bring the two up to the three and 3x2=6.
